TxDSHS Emergency Care Attendant (ECA)

This is a specialty course primarily for psychiatric care professionals. This course follows the PMAB state curriculum. The course focuses on communication skills, physical restrain, and personal protection at the minimal level needed. The course is mostly a interactive hands-on course. The course completion certificate is valid for one year.
At this time the course is only scheduled for facility trainings in the Dallas/Fort Worth psychiatric centers. If the course is open to the public an individual may attend. We do not post on this web site course locations and dates. One must contact our office if interested in this course.

12 Lead EKG Interpretation

This course is for individuals who have completed a Basic EKG course in the past. The 12 Lead course teaches the basics at understand the data viewed from a 12 lead. The course is 8 hours in length and conducted by physicians. For more information contact our office.

Blood Borne Pathogens

This course prepares participants to protect themselves from bodily exposures and clean-up. This course meets OSHA standards for medical and first responder personnel. The course/in-service is approximately 1 to 2 hours depending on topics included. Contact our office for rates and more information.
