Important questions to ask a school teaching an EMT course; How many enrolled on day one of the last class offered.  At the end of the class how many remained.  Of those who completed the class how many passed the National Registry exam and how many attempts were needed. The school should be able to provide this information upon request.  Follow up the information for accuracy by contacting the Texas Department of State Health Services (EMS) located in Arlington, Texas and/or the National Registry in Columbus, Ohio.
